ESPORTS More than Just Games
Thursday April 30, 2026 10:15am - 11:00am CDT
More than a Sport, more than just games,  eSports is a community and there is a future in it. It gives some students a reason to attend school, focus on academics and participate in a Sport while learning to eliminate online toxic behavior. Learn more about gaming with a purpose in a controlled environment and what is needed for a school to get going and be successful. Help schools teach real digital skills through the language kids already understand: gaming. Gaming Concepts curriculum helps students build confidence in digital literacy, problem-solving, and responsible tech use through ready-to-teach lessons aligned to Nebraska standards in all and built for grades 3-12.

Birds of a Feather - General Education
Thursday April 30, 2026 2:45pm - 3:30pm CDT
Birds of A Feather - Educator’s Remix: A Collaborative Tech Jam Session
Why just listen when you can collaborate? Step into The Educator’s Remix, a high-energy Birds of a Feather session designed for K-12 educators who are ready to swap the lecture for the roundtable. Think of this as a creative "jam session" where your classroom expertise is the lead instrument.
We’re breaking down the silos and remixing our collective knowledge across the hottest tracks in EdTech today. Grab a seat at the table that sparks your interest and dive into raw, honest, and practical discussions on:
  • The AI Track: Moving from "What is it?" to "How do we use it responsibly?"
  • The App Flip: Rapid-fire sharing of the tools actually saving us time.
  • Breaking Barriers: Honest talk on equity, access, and tech hurdles.
  • The Wildcard: Open space for the trends you're seeing in your classroom right now.
No slides, no scripts—just real talk, fresh ideas, and a chance to build your professional playlist. Come ready to share your "greatest hits," meet and connect with new classroom artists, and leave with a remix of new strategies to try at school on Monday!

This is your space to crowdsource answers to your toughest tech integration questions, share 'small wins' that make a big difference, and connect with a community of teachers who are navigating the same digital landscape every day.

AI literacy— the ability to understand, question, and thoughtfully engage with AI systems—begins well before students use chatbots. In this session, educators will explore foundational lessons from Common Sense that help students question what's real, evaluate altered media, credit original work, identify credible sources, and understand digital consent. We must build students' critical thinking and ethical awareness to prepare them for an AI-driven world.

Less Grading, More Growing: How AI Shifted Focus to Student Ownership
Friday May 1, 2026 1:00pm - 1:45pm CDT
What if your students took charge of their learning and you got your evenings back? I started using NotebookLM to create Mastery Notebooks that guide students through what mastery looks like for each unit. The results? I stopped assigning busywork and grading everything. Students became more independent, some reluctantly. This shift is about reclaiming time and increasing student ownership. This session explores how to build structure, promote mastery, and stop chasing kids for late work.
